How do you like upcoming Brutal Assault? Are you thrilled or still waiting for YOUR band? If so, what about AT THE GATES?
Brutal Assault Festival announces newly confirmed bands headed by legendary Swedish melodic death metal band AT THE GATES, grindcore supergroup LOCK UP and Swedish djentleman VILDHJARTA.
Another confirmed acts are American extreme technical death metallers NILE and Norwegian black metallers KAMPFAR.
North Carolina stoner metal legend CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, Icelandic post-rock/metal band SOLSTAFIR and Canadian death metal band GORGUTS have been confirmed for Brutal Assault 2012.

And another part of the mosaic called Brutal Assault 2012.
GODFLESH, industrial metal pioneers from Birmingham, UK, formed in 1988 by Justin Broadrick and G. C. Green, have confirmed their appearance at BA 2012. The group disbanded in 2002 but reformed in 2010, appearing in few festivals and starting to produce a new studio album.

At January 2012 three young, but perspective bands released at once on Metal Scrap Records.
The first release date was held on January, 12. In a role debutant came Dark Symphonic Industrial Metal band from Russia UNITED MIND CLUB with their debut full-length album "World Blood History".
January, 13 - presentation of the debut album "Endless Torment" by young Thrash Metal band from Ukraine CRUSHER. Album released by Total Metal Records (a division of Metal Scrap Records).
And finally, today, January 19 Russian Modern Thrash Metal band GROSS GROLLAND presented their debut full-length album, titled “What Doesn't Kill Me Makes A Big Mistake”.
World release date will be held on March 12, with support of Code 7 / Plastic Head Distribution (England).

Further dose of newly confirmed bands for BA2012 headed by IMMOLATION.
New York-based death metal veterans IMMOLATION, VALLENFYRE - U.K. death/doom metal band featuring members of My Dying Bride, Doom or Paradise Lost and Polish progressive band RIVERSIDE are becoming a part of the Brutal Assault 2012.

“Icaros” - the first promo track from Devilish Impressions’ forthcoming “Simulacra” album is now online! The track can be heard on the band’s official Facebook & MySpace pages.

The album will feature a number of guest appearances, including the likes of Orion (BEHEMOTH, VESANIA), Jacek Grecki (LOST SOUL) and Roman (LECTER) as well as session synth / samples / fx by Flumen (ASGAARD) and Lestath (METransmissionAL). It is scheduled to be released in Poland in early 2012 via Icaros Records as exclusive 3-winged digipack with the logo and the lucifer statues on the front cover embossed, along with 16-pages booklet. All artworks, layout and design by Xaay (NILE, KAMELOT, VADER).

It has not been confirmed yet which label is going to release it worldwide.
The band has been recently confirmed to take part in a number of 2012 summer open-air festivals. Dates to be announced soon.

Legacy #76 Bands of our label confidently continue to win the Western music market. In the latest issue of the leading European metal edition of Legacy (# 76, January-February 2012), our bands received high points again. CRYOGENIC IMPLOSION - 8 points (leaving behind Illnath, Meat Loaf, Vendetta and Christ Agony); D. HATE and ECLIPSE - 10 points (separated places with Venom, Opera IX, Anathema, JR Blackmore & Friends and Legions Of War); CYDIA - 12 points (separated place with Aborted, Iron Savior, Korn, Vektor and leaving behind Alice Cooper and Abigail Williams)!!

We are pleased to announce that American metal legend MACHINE HEAD is officially the new headliner of Brutal Assault festival 2012.
Masters of their craft and a band which has been re the genre of metal for two decades. Now, four years since the epic success of „The Blackening“, new MACHINE HEAD studio album „Unto The Locust“ was released this year.
The Old Fortress in Josefov is ready to host one of the most important metal bands in history. Be ready for MACHINE fucking HEAD!!!
It's hard to believe that it took 16 years to wait for Brutal Assault premiere for Floridas archfiends DEICIDE. One of the most important bands who was there when US death metal was evoken to its abominable existence. Deicide will deliver the best from their discography including still fresh record "To Hell With God".
Otherwise, new wave thrash metallers WARBRINGER are no newbies to our festival and we are glad to welcome them here once again. Special event is concert comeback of gore grinders AHUMADO GRANUJO, whose fame reached far away from borders of our small country, as testified by upcoming mexican tour. This is their only performance planned for summer 2012. All of them coming from the States, all of them will make you mosh like crazy: HATEBREED, SUICIDE SILENCE and MUNICIPAL WASTE. Other confirmed bands are Finnish melodic death metal band INSOMNIUM and German death metal legend MORGOTH.
